So who is Austin Schneider? He’s a real estate agent in the Seattle with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. He also happens to be a home buyer educator and content creator — and a really nice guy, too.

Look, buying real estate isn’t like buying a new mattress or even a car. This is a BIG purchase — perhaps the biggest of your life so far (except maybe your education, but that’s a topic for another day.) That’s why there are all sorts of factors you just don’t deal with in daily life: escrow, title companies, agents and loan officers, earnest money. Who knew there were so many things you knew nothing about.
